Our 09 gulf stream crescendo (workhorse chassis) does not want to dump the rear air but will dump the front air bags and lower. Appears that the toggle switch is working fine. Any manual override that anyone knows or other procedure? Thanks.

I didn't realize that WorkHorse used air suspension.

For our 09 gulf stream crescendo on the workhorse chassis, can someone confirm the levelling jack procedure:
1. Turn off engine and dump air
2. Level jacks down.
3. Open all slides.
Then reverse upon departure?

Workhorse manufactured a RDP product in both Haggerstown, IN and later in Elkhart, IN for a few years in the mid 2000s. The unit was a 4 bag air ride, air brake suspension using Cummins ISC and later the CAT C7 w/ ACERT. You may find these chassis under a Winnebago/Itasca brand motorhome, a 4 Winds Presidio, Yellowstone, a Gulf Stream Crescendo, Damon Ultrasport and the Rexhall Roseair.
Additional; R-Series were optioned all the way up to Cummins ISL 400HP engine and also came with 2 possible front axles, IFS or I beam. The IFS suspension only had 1 grease fitting. All the R-Series that I have seen came equipped with Gabriel shock absorbers. The R features color coded air lines to ease diagnostic work. All the lines and electrical cables were run inside covered plastic conduits inside the (frame) C channel.
Our Rally Wagonmaster for the 2012 National Rally rides on an R-Series.

Welcome to the forum.
Your sequence is correct for my rig but maybe someone with a Gulfstream will chime in to confirm.

My HR Endeavor is different. Turn off engine, dump air, sled out, then level. I think the reason is when you level you actual twist a bit and that could cause a bind. Not sure.

If you are in a RV park where the spaces are relatively level, I don't think it makes a nickel's worth of difference which you do first. I always put my slides out first then level. When the slides are in or completely out the body is stiff and not likely to "twist" which is what you want when you level with jacks. If you level first then extend slides, you may have to re-level because of the weight shift even though you dumped the air bags first.

Depends on what the manufacturer of your RV states.
On ours it's:
Level side to side.
Level front to rear.
Extend slides.

My manual says engine on for leveling or extending the slides (level first). However, when in storage I run the slides in/out without starting.

Manuals for diesels with air suspension often say to put the slides out and then level but all of the gassers I have seen say to level and then extend the slides.
