When driving the motorhome by itself it handled acceptably. The previous owners had the Rallys R Us front anti sway bar installed which they felt helped a great deal from it's initial handling when they bought it new.

It was after we started towing our car that I really noticed the tremendous body movement when being passed by not just large trucks but even passing automobiles. Drive through curving construction with undulating pavement, narrow lanes, with barriors right up to the edge, and long trucks pushing into your lane while the motorhome was flopping all over - made for more excitement than what I was looking for.

Installed the Ultra Trac rear bar purchased from Oemy's and oh what a difference. Even with the wind really honking today often in a direct crosswind the motorhome never felt like it was going anywhere but where it was pointed. All that body behind the rear axles needs something to keep it under control. It's just unfortunate that Workhorse or Winnebago didn't take care of this from the factory.

It is a well designed and relatively easy install. You do need to be able to put 150 foot pounds of force on the torque wrench and need a long strong breaker bar for popping off the bolts on the axle.

I recommend you contact Oemy if your looking for one of these.

Our 2007 Ford F53 chassis under our 2008 Windsport has a front trac bar built in. We added a rear trac bar and a Safe T Plus steering and that really made a big differance in steering with big trucks and wind.

I just installed the Rear Ultra Trak Bar and Koni FSD shocks on my 07 W22. Then made a trip to from Louisiana to South Dakota and back and the improvements were very much welcomed. I think I will add the front Trak Bar in the future when the piggy bank recovers.

Driver,
After the improvements from the rear Track Bar made, if the front Track Bar makes similar improvements, I will be smiling for sure as we drive down the Byways of America enjoying the RV experience.

Consider if you will a front track bar coupled with a Safe-T-Plus. Both systems operate in conjunction with one another and works on making your driving experience markedly improved. Couple with a nice set of shock absorbers and you got it made.

Driver,
I have the Safety T Plus already installed, had that done before I took delievery of the unit when new. I have done the Koni Shocks and they were an improvement also. I was thinking about Ultra Trak for the front Track Bar when I got the piggy bank back up or is there a better one?

The Ultra Trak is a good choice.

I don't know what the repair history is of my MH. It has a P32 chassis and it does have beefy anti-sway bars in the front and rear. How do I tell if they are original equipment or add-ons? Thanks!

Often they paint them unique colors i.e.-orange to advertise they have been added. Otherwise it can be difficult to tell unless you compare the design with pictures manufacturers put on the web of their products.

If you posted a picture of it I'll bet with the collective wisdom of the forum someone should be able to help you identify it.

If you are happy with the handling than all is well. "If it ain't broke don't fix it"

I installed the Koni FSD shocks and a DIY rear trac bar system from oemey's web site. What a difference the shocks made in ride and the limited amount of sway on turns/trucks passing that the rear trac bar made! Wow, best changes I made to my coach as far as handling and makes me feel way more safer!
