I think I'm asking Driver on this one, but everyone is welcome of course! I'm full-time, have unreliable snail-mail, travel continuously, and therefore rely on the internet, and this site in particular, to keep current on MH issues. I've been through many of the posts in various threads concerning the W-22 caliper recall, and it seems to be confusing and very time consuming to try to ferret out the salient info. Is there a way for us to have a single thread dedicated to the progress of this recall, one that contains the important and timely info we need w/o lots of opinions and complaints scattered throughout? I'm not saying we don't need opinions and complaints, they are important in their own right, and I personally enjoy our little "skirmishes" and various points of view; but I'd like to get the facts that I need to properly deal with this recall in an effective manner, hopefully in one place and easily identifiable. A single thread that I can subscribe to and check out every once in a while.... Perhaps there already is, and I've missed it. Or, maybe I'm asking too much; if so, just tell me, and all will be just fine. (And I'm certainly not trying to stir any pots!) It's not a real big deal, but IMHO, some kind of clear pathway would be soooo nice. Thanks for listening.

All I can suggest is keep checking online and try to filter through the posts for what you need, I talked to a wh rep at Tampa show and was told parts won`t be available until late spring or early summer which is way too long.
I am hoping he was being conservative and they show up sooner, but the way this issue has been prolonged I doubt it.
As far as the debates go, this is such a hot button issue, with a lot of out of pocket money for some people they are justifyably very angry.

Eventually, it is a pain for us all, so of course I get the anger part. I've advocated for free speech before in this forum, and I'm ALWAYS good with everyone expressing their views (except for put-downs). My point is that I'm hoping someone can create a single easy-to-find thread dedicated to 'quasi-official" stuff, so we can all stay up to date without having to go through 80 posts or ask the same questions over and over. I think it will take a mod to do it, probably using a sticky.... Whadaya think DriVer? Can do? Worth doing? If not, no sweat, I'm just trying to go forward, ya know?

DriVer -- Okay, I'm assuming this is where I can go to find current info as it becomes available. Thanks for the quick response.

DriVer - and everyone else,
We should get great info on this as Frontrangerver has promised he will tell us all when the recall occurs. I guess he has an "in" with WH or Bosch that will help speed up the process. I'm feeling better already!

Denny,
I don't think he has any better info than Driver or the folks from Brazels. BTW, I think he got booted from this forum for bad behavior. He seems much better behaved at his new home.

With respect to my previous comment, Mark has informed me that he wasn't booted from this forum for bad behavior. I stand corrected.

I wanted to send you a PM however that feature is disabled in your profile. Is there perhaps an eMail that can be used.
