There is a person here that reported that he gets a "Reduced Engine Power" text message in his command center. Here's more ....

The REP occurs he stated when he engages the cruise control. If he disengages the cruise or simply leaves it off, he states that he can cruise all day long without a text error code (EC).

This guy has told me that to resolve the EC he pulls over and shuts down and restarts the engine. Once started he's good to go however as soon as he engages the cruise, he'll get the REP text message again and the vehicle will loose power.

Have any of you experienced this type of failure? I haven't heard of the cruise control being set causing an REP.

I would recommend replacing the TAC (Throttle Actuator Control) module.
