I just wanted to let all you folks know that Ed Gray has been recently elected to the position of President of the WCMC. Ed tells me that the "Club" is going to be doing a lot more interactive communications here on iRV2.

What will happen in the near term is that this forum will probably be renamed to some thing like "Workhorse Custom Chassis Owner's Forum" and then there will be a separate Forum called "Workhorse Chassis Motorhome Club" in the "RV Lifestyles" category. Nothing will change in this forum.

I do however encourage you to join the WCMC. I understand that there were approximately 44 members in attendance in Union City for the last rally and plans are being drawn up to have both west and east coast rallies at different times of the year in the near future.

The requirement to become an FMCA member has has been retained and the fee to join the WCMC is a one-time fee of $25.00 and $15.00 per year thereafter. You should either be an FMCA Member or you will need to join the FMCA in order to participate as a member of the WCMC. You'll shortly get a membership kit in the mail and you'll be in good company along with the other WCMC members across the country.

Workhorse is supporting the club more than it ever has in the past and good things are certainly on the horizon for club members.

To join the club please click on the large graphic at the top of the page. Please consider joining your chassis club at your earliest convenience.

GREAT for Ed.

But I still offer what I posted below Driver, maybe something will happen.

No problem with Workhorse, but have given up on Workhorse chassis Motorhome Club website. While I am a paying member, the website says my name/password does not exist when I try to access, but when I try to reregister, it says I'm a already existing account.

After 6-7 weeks emailing back and forth the vice presisent for membership (Nancy), I gave up. She never ever, understood the problem.

Best,

Bob & Kristi Rupp

There is a new or temporary membership person but all of that will be detailed in the "Club Forum" as soon as Ed gets back home.

This is one of the reasons why iRV2 will be well suited for interactive communications because we're always on the case, 24-7.

ruppr;
I have had the same problem. Here is what I did to get in. I believe there is a conflict with the 2 logins between Workhorse.com and the club. I took my computer in thinking there was something wrong with it. The Tech removed all my cookies through the control panel. He then told me to answer no when it asked if I want Windows to remember my password for logging on Workhorse. Below is the routine that works for me. I hope it works for you.

I go into Workhorse.com
Click on Motor home
Don't login. If you find you are logged in log off
Click on Industry drop down.
Click on Motor home
Click on Workhorse Owners Club
At this point I log in using My workhorse log in info.
I click in the black highlighted WWW.WCMC.Workhorse.Com It than lets me in. I have be able to get in with out logging in at this point also.

Don

Good luck and congrats to Ed.

I feel like an orphan though. My CHEV chassis is a '98, prior to Workhorse. I sure hope this part of the site stays as is. I have been able to get a great deal of support here, as have other Chevy owners.

I see no conflict of interest or any other reason why all Chevrolet owners can not be members in good standing in the WCMC.

Thanks DriVer. The statement was kinda tongue in cheek, but it is nice to know we are supported. I have found great support on this forum with any questions I have posted, and really do appreciate the support.

I guess I must be brain dead Driver. The only logo I see at the top of the page is the IRV2 logo. When I click on that I don't see anything about joining the WCMC. If you are talking about the logo at the top of the Workhose site I don't get anyting there either. I must be very confused over something rather simple. Maybe I am beyond help but please try anyway.

ghamblen,

When you enter this section (Workhorse Chassis Motorhome Club Forum) of the iRV2 website you will see a workhorse emblem at the top of the page above the "stickies". Click there to access the Workhorse site.

At the very top of the page is the IRV2 logo. I do not see a Workhorse emblem above the stickies. I must have something missing. Any ideas?

It's too bad that just buying the WH is'nt enough to be a WH Club member. Oh well we could all use an extra $25 bucks and WH is probably looking forward to lots of 25 bucks to come their way.
Let me know what what you get for it.

Thanks for trying Petro, I at least got to see the homepage, but the log in attempt produce the same mumbo/jumbo statement as listed above.

Wonder if you get a rebate on membership since you can't get into the club????? Or maybe it was just fees needed. Oh well, going into 5 months with no acess----------

Best,

Best,
