I had a brake melt down about two months ago on return from a short day trip. Because I had planned a longer trip for the next week, I paid a repair shop to perform the repairs. Because there were no new calipers available at the time, we used re-manufactured calipers (NAPA). The cost to take care of the repairs came to $700. That was two new calipers, pads, turning the rotors, dust caps and labor. Not exactly an emergency, but does anyone know if WH will re-imburse me for any of the repairs. I am on a waiting list now to have all four replaced under the recall.

I highly doubt it. But look at it this way, you got new pads, rotors turned, dust caps and labor
for what the service centers are now charging $1500 for so you got a deal.

If you went out of network to have the brakes fixed, it is regrettable and unlikely that you will qualify for reimbursement. The good news is that you were able to go out and RV however the "better" News is that you are going to get 4 new calipers at the end of the day.
