We lost one set of keys for MH and I am having trouble finding someone with the blanks to cut a new 2005 WH ignition key. Any suggestions.

George

George, Your Workhorse Service Center can order the blanks for you. I got a pair of blanks, cost about $20 bucks.

I then went to my local Chevy dealer and they has a box that cuts the blanks. The dealer didn't change me anything to cut the blanks.

That's the best way to proceed. Call one of our sponsors to see if they can order the blanks for you. The blank has the rubber top with the twin horse head logo. Nothing else in my opinion will do!

That said .... found my lost set and now I have 4 WCC ignition keys.

The problem is you tell them "it's a workhorse"

Have them take a good hard look at the same year CHEVY Silverado key.

No I can not say for sure it will fit.. but.. It's a start.

(One of these days I'll stop in to a key shop and check it out)

I previously posted that the Chevrolet dealership cut the keys. Blanks are available at Chevrolet for the Workhorse ignition key. It isn't a problem.

Just bring your original key. They can match that up and you can be on your way. Whether it has a Bowtie or a twin horse head on the key doesn't matter. I chose to get the Workhorse keys and they were easy to get. It just took a few days to get them is all because a pair of keys isn't a large order.

I went to Home Depot and had a key cut. Starts the coach just fine.
