Hi...There was a post about replacing the stock GM 8.1 cold air filter with an oiled one from S&B PN 66-2014D. I can't find this post and I am asking to verify the part number and it's viability. Thanks. lenOrge

that was probably my post. after i bought my k&n pn 33-2062-1 filter, i found that there was some controversy about the cleaning ability of this filter. the dimensions are 16'' x 7.875'' x 1.5''.
i found that that are the dimensions of the s&b pn 66-2014d. it is the same filter used in the duramax 6.5l turbo charged diesel and other engines. that is how i found the K&n number also. there was a test on the road runner.com website but that link doesn't work now. it was an iso 5011 test report. the s&b website has changed. i found the filter now on their website at this link.
my k&n is working just fine for me now.
S&B Filters: Part #: 66-2014D: OE Replacement Filter
