just bought safe t plus (STP) but it pulls to the left. How do I adjust it? </div></BLOCKQUOTE>Sal, You have to get the motorhome on a straight and level surface as best as possible. If it's pulling to the left that means that the center of the STP is too far to the right.
An STP is adjusted in very small increments a eighth of an inch or less at a time. To begin; run the MH a short distance while going straight and stop the vehicle. Allow the engine to continue running. With the wheels pointing straight ahead, set the parking brake while the driver holds the steering wheel in the straight ahead position. A second person will have to loosen the clamp on the tie rod and allow the STP to seek center on its own. Tighten the clamp. You may have to repeat this process a few times if it continues to pull.
I ran through this process about 4 or 5 times since there isn't a mark that says the clamp goes here. You have to install it manually and it is largely a PITA. My STP has been set for few years now and it's been fine.
If all else fails find a shop that sells the STP and they should be able to help you with the install.
