Quick question Dale. I just programmed Scangauge to read the oil pressure. It's reads approximately the same as the Actia display oil pressure except when I turn the engine off, the Scangauge reads 11 psi. Is there a fix or is this normal?

The EOP isn't the only value that reads after the fact, there are others. What you are seeing in my opinion is normal.

I used the code in post #23 in my ScanGuage 2. It now reads the oil pressure with in 1 psi of the dash guage on my 09 WH with 6 speed.

THANKS again to Omey

So, I called my contact am we went over the various parameters and it seems the original code given to me had a extra leading 0 in the MTH formula. I have corrected that.

Code:
Engine Oil Pressure
TXD: 6C10F122115C01
RXF: 04620511065C
RXD: 3008
MTH: 007300FF0000
NAM: EOP
Thanks Dale, I got it and the SG OP reading is within 1lb of what the IP says @ cold idle.

My solution on this was simple, I ordered my scangauge from Dale, after he figured out how to program in the oil pressure!
I do have a question for others here. On the O2 sensor(s) readouts, what are the units? I am seeing numbers at idle in the 750-800 range, (if this is ppm, that is .075-0.080 % O2 which is pretty low). I guess it could be right, I just looked at the last smog test on my pickup, and they show 0.0 O2 at the tailpipe, with very good CO numbers. Also, my BAR number, if indeed it is outside atmospheric pressure, is not correct. Yesterday, it was reading 62.4, but at my altitude and atmospheric pressure yesterday, (value from an airport 1 mile away, maybe 50 ft lower) it was 880 millibars (.88 bars) . I have asked Dale about this also and he is researching it, but thought someone here might have the answer

Update on BAR... from LL contact.

Quote:
I took a good long look at the BAR XGauge and the data we have on that sensor from GM and I think our XGauge may be wrong. It’s supposed to read the atmospheric pressure as inches of mercury, but it seems like it’s waaaay off. 62.4 inches of mercury is about twice the pressure at sea level. I think we need to adjust the RXF and the MTH to:

RXF: 04624511069D
MTH: 000B00010003

Everything else should stay the same. If I’m right, this should change the value to about 25.9 inches of mercury which is about 877 Millibars, which extremely close to his independent reading.

Also, if he would like I could calibrate the MTH to read out in millibars pretty easily.
I will update you with the millibar code when I get it.

I put in the values for "BAR", it is closer, but not right. I now get 23.1 on the scangauge, the actual value here is now 26.087

The output in inchs of mercury is ok, I don't need millibars. I am accustomed to using both systems.
