I have a Newmar Mountain Aire with a W24 Workhorse. I would like to know more about the ScangaugeII. How is it setup to monitor the transmission temp, fuel/air mixture, etc? Is it automatic, or does the buyer have to find and enter information about their engine and transmission. Also, what is an Ultrapower upgrade, where do you get it, $$, what are its benifits. Thanks...

call or email OEMY, at 512.856.1127 for info about sc2. when you buy it from him, he sets up the codes for your moho before he ships it to you. oemy is working on the codes for the 6sp trans temp.
i have the 5sp allison and i didn't purchase it from oemy so i had to set it up myself with my dw's help. the codes come from a pdf document from scangauge and must be input. it helped me to have my dw read the codes while i input them.
i still don't have all of the available codes installed for short and long term fuel trim, o2 sensors, and the mass airflow sensor .
my fuel-air mixture readout works well. my transmission temp readout works well.
my sc2 works well with the exception of the engine torque readout (reads 0) and there is no current oil pressure code for my moho. i think oemy is working on these problems also.
overall, i am satisfied with my sc2. it is well worth the price. i have a picture of my installation on a previous post.

for info on ultrapower, call BREZEL'S at 877.786.1576. they are a sponsor of this forum and do good work.
i don't have ultrapower.

Ever since I got Ultra-Powered, my scan gauge HP & MPG display goes to 9999 when approaching 4000 RPM.

I figure it is a scaling issue... It will show about 350 Horse before going to all 9's.

Anybody else see this?

I have had weird numbers in the IP itself while under severe loads however I haven't seen the SGII freak out like your suggesting. I don't run the HP mode very often.

Remember, that the MPG & HP a calculated numbers based on the sensors and this applies to the Acita cluster and SG II. Now if you have ever written any software you base you output from your input. Also consider the amount of memory available for calculations and you will find that the there is only enough room for the calculations. IE - You can't write in any "what if" stuff.

Oemy has been building his site for over 2 years now so all that data took a lot of time to get together. I have not heard form anyone that has stated that they have seen a compatible resource for Ford vehicles.
