Santa was nice to our motorhome, giving it a ScanGuage for Christmas. Setting it up was pretty simple including the X-Guage parts. However, I cannot seem to get the Engine Torque setting to work. I have installed all the correct codes (from scanguage pdf chart) and all that reads is 0.0.
Has any other member be able to establish the Engine Torque settings?

Yep... It's one of the Xgauges that don't work. I Emailed LL and have not heard back... But, I suspect they are buried with Emails and may or may not answer. You may want to call and see what they can do. It is not on my project priority list yet.

LL told me to try leaving the 01 off of the x gauge entry. no joy there. no reading, not even 0.
another thing is that there is no engine oil pressure readout. LL says that they are working on that, to keep checking for new x gauge items.

The other gauge that didn't work was LTFT (Long Term Fuel Trim) #2. I was able to fix that one. Its seems they copied the previous RXF parms. If you need this gauge, here is the fix:
Change
RXF 044105080000
To
RXF 044105090000

Dale, in you opinion what are the four most informative guages to monitor while driving?

My opinion and $5 will get you a Starbucks Mocha Latte.
I usually run Water Temp, Internal Air Temp, Tranny Temp and Load Percent.
Other of interest are Knock Retard (pinging), Ignition (spark advance), Fuel Trims (Short/Long), Horse Power, MAF, Map etc... All depends if I suspect a problem. Also, I like to see how the engine reacts to various conditions.

Speaking of Xgauges that don't work... Oemy had a a senior moment. If you have one from me that the Tranny Temp does not work on a 5 sp... Check the following entry on the TFT:
TXD 6C18F122194001 and be sure that the 6 is the first character. If it isn't the TFT will not display the temp. If you need help in changing it call me.

LTFT's above 10 will usually indicate things like a vacuum leak or exhaust leak. Mine were high and after checking various things we re-calibrated the MAF and this fixed the problem. This could have an effect on fuel mileage.
An intake vacuum leak can be catastrophic as it will take out a piston in a heart beat.
On edit - corrected spelling and added info on intake manifold leak.
