Maybe I'm just lucky. I read about all the service center juggling, are they a select center, are they not, how are they rated, are they going to rip me off, how long will it take, etc. My local non select WH service center, Gallo Truck service in Vineland NJ called yesterday and left a message asking I call and discuss getting my calipers replaced. I had mentioned getting them to do the recall when I was in there 6-8 months ago. Today they informed me they had calipers available for my unit if I would like to schedule the work, as they know the letters were mailed out. Time frame given was 4 hours for the caliper replacement. If after disassembling, any collateral damage was found, it would be addressed with WH and might take several days even though they have replacement parts in stock. Needless to say, bring it in the first of the week and I would have it back for Tuesday or Friday at the latest.
It's nice to have not been back burnered by my service center, even after many months, nor pressured into additional spending. Now to find a week to get the recall completed and some service work done.

George
