I have a 2003 W20 chassis and am going to install Koni FSD shocks.
I have the service manual on CD and when I tried to use it to get the torque requirements, I get a "File I/O error" so I can't get the numbers.

Workhorse is sending me a new CD but it's going to take a few days to get here. The WH customer service guys don't have the torque info so I have to get it from the CD.

Can anyone provide the numbers?

I have the shocks with pins on the bottom of the front shocks and eyelets on the top.
The rear have eyelets on both the top and bottom. The nuts/bolts are 1 1/8" and 15/16".

I would appreciate any help.

As an engineer I may be anal but I think it's important and so do a lot of mechanics.

I just bought a 3 to 1 torque multiplier and a 250 ft pound torque wrench so I can make sure my lug nuts are properly torqued at 475 ft pounds as required.

My experience is that road services and many tire shops don't have the equipment to set the torque at that level.

The CD came in and the front shocks top and bottom through bolt nuts require 80 ft pounds of torque.
The rear shocks have a top through bolt and a bottom stud. The top through bolt nut requires 80 ft pounds.
The Koni shocks have a slip of paper in the box that says the nuts on the two rear shock studs require 74 ft pounds.

I had a little trouble finding the torque numbers because it took me a while to realize that the W22 chassis is sometimes called a P22 in the service manual.
