I originally installed Bilsteins that Newmar paid for. I liked the firm ride on "most" roads. But, they are murder on some roads. So, I decided to swap the fronts for Koni FSD's. Hamie Wright tried this and didn't like the results. So, I "borrowed" Hamie's FSD's and installed them today. But, this time I used a HD 1/2 Impact wrench. It took about an hour.

Note - You need to strap the Bilsteins down to get them off. I used 4 18" HD tie wraps to hold them.

I will report back after I head out to the Winnebago GNR (as a vendor) on July 9th.

Well, I have a few miles on the Knoi's and the ride is much better. But, I can understand where Hamie is coming from. The stiffer shock gives a better feel in the steering wheel. But, do like the ride. So fro now they stay on.

The difference between worn out Monroe RV Magnums and the FSD was dramatic.

Have a safe trip up to the GNR.
