I have a 2005 Presidio DP on a workhorse chassis R20 looking to change the shocks but is having problems finding them. Can someone help please.

The Workhorse RDP chassis were all referred to as the R32, regardless of GVWR, which ranged from 28,000 to 32,000 pounds. If you are asking for shocks for an R20, that may be a reason for the delayed response. Sorry I can't be more help. Ed

Here is the info I got directly from one of my contacts at WCC:

Front shocks are Arvin / Meritor part # 7805-W-1011
Rear shocks are Arvin / Meritor part # 7805-X-1012

They are apparently obsolete and out of stock, but the numbers might be cross-referenced by a smart parts guy. Good Luck! Ed

Here is the response I received from Meritor regarding shock replacements:

Joe, we do not sell these two shocks 7805W1011 or 7805X1012 any longer
You would have to contact a Workhorse dealer to try to get them.
Thanks

JOE: I was told the shocks are obsolete and that UTP has none in stock, therefore I doubt any Workhorse ASC dealer will be able to order them. However, it remains my HOPE that your R32 owners will be able to find a shock that fits by providing them as a cross-reference starting point. Sorry, wish I had better news. Ed

I have a new update on shocks for my R32 chassis.
I heard back from RoadKing Shocks and they DO have shocks for the R32 chassis.
They are expensive (~$350 ea.), but this is the only source that I've found after several weeks of searching and several very dedicated and knowledgeable folks working on it. My RV shop is in contact with them now verifying the technical information. I hope this helps others who really need new shocks and have met the same brick wall that I have. If this RoadKing shock works, I'm ending my search and spending the money.
The contact info is:

JOE CASTOR: THANK YOU for continuing your efforts. I've not heard back from my contacts at Navistar, and I was afraid Jon Brazel was right when he posted "they don't exist", but hopefully he will be proven wrong.

Once you KNOW that the RoadKing shocks will fit, please advise the part numbers.

THANKS, again!
Ed
