In Jul we are headed to Fort Worden from the Phoenix area via Salt Lake, Boise, Portland, Olympia. A few of the tires on our 2005 Dolphin (purchased new) are showing signs of hairline sidewall cracks after just 4 years (apr 2004 chassis) and so I am contemplating replacement along with 4 Alcoas (for 4 of the 6 steel wheels).
Do you think I would get a pro-rate for the tire wear considering the short time we have had the MH?
Brazels may be a stop to reflash the UltraPower we purchased a few years ago so could also possibly be a stop for tires and "maybe" a wheel upgrade on our way up. Any suggestions for good service centers along that route that could upgrade the wheels and tires at a competitive price would be greatly appreciated so that I can start making arrangements now. I'd like Durabrights if they come in the size I need. Here's what I have now:
Tires: 235/80R22.5G XRVs
Wheels: 22.5 x 6.75 (according to "My Motorhome" Workhorse site)
What might I expect to pay as the bottom line out the door price for 6 new tires and 4 Alcoa Durabrights presuming they are available in my wheel size?
Thanks for your time to read as well as your recommendations and tips/insights.
Wade
