Sorry we are leaving

Went to the other side and now driving a Ford. BIG difference. I am gonna miss my 8.1. The older it got the better it got. Traded it in with over 40,000 miles. Thanks for all the help.

You'll be Happy with the Ford...... I am on my 3rd - V10. I have several friends who would like someone, to take there WH off their hands. Does it have Plenty of Power? yes!
Will it out run my V10 on the Hills? Yes

But they are tired of the Brake problem, Calipers problem, emergency brake, Ignition, Clutch fan, rear axle bearing Problems..... Just to name a few. There list Keeps Growing. They too when it happens will miss there 8.1 like a Wart.

I am going to miss my Wart. So far, It has been a great 7 years with 108, 000 miles so far. I am going to miss my Wart, the manufacturer gave me new brake calipers and fluid flush around 50, 000 miles even though I had no problems. I am going to miss my Wart, I regularly changed the oil and have only purchased spark plugs and wires and a serpentine belt and pulley. I am going to miss my Wart. My Wart engine runs as good now as it did July of 2007 when I picked it up. I am going to miss my wart. I did have to upgrade the shocks and add a sway bar, but I think it was smart to add these these as my CCC was approaching maximum. I going to miss my Wart. I think me and my Wart have few more years and few more miles left to go before I get somebody to take it off my hands.

I only wish there was a choice of GAS RV chassis manufactures today. Competition promotes design and innovations. Competition is a good thing in free market.

mg.... good to hear a success story. My fellow campers have gotten nothing from "the manufacturer " The three combined have less than a 100k on their coaches. Issues keep coming..... we sat last weekend, working to get my buddy's WH parking brake to release. Does anyone make a perfect coach... NO. But the WH issues are Real !!! Just saying.....

Best of travels to you ctpres.
I'm sure you didn't intend on this becoming a "my RV is better than your RV" post.

If I go with a gas unit I'm leaning toward the WH, mainly for the somewhat quieter ride and the power train combination. What is the big difference you mention and what did you mean by the older it got, the better it got? Thanks.
