Welcome to iRV2.

I have to question your RV description .

1988 Sportsman . The only Sportsman I'm aware of wasn't a class A motor home , and if there is an RV Class A , with the Sportsman name , the chassis manufacturer ,( Chevrolet in 88 ) wouldn't have supplied the door or the glass , the RV builder would have .

Could you post a picture of your RV and the door that you require the glass for , maybe we can get you onto the right track for a replacement.

I'm getting my side windows resealed. They are double pane units which really should be called double pain. However, I found that a place that does school bus windows (and they need to be done regularly I'm told) can do the resealing like I need and if the glass is etched, they will order a custom made replacement. Tempered glass you know. I take the window - frame and all - to them for the work on and then I reinstall by myself.

If it's just the glass I'd think any of our local glass places could custom fit glass to the opening. Might be worth giving them a call to find out for sure.

From your picture and an internet search . I believe what you have is a ;

SportsCoach Cross County . not a Sportsman

The window may well be tempered safety glass , so getting one made may be a problem .
