Angry Speed Sensor for P32 2003 WHC 6.5 Diesel Turbo Auto

A happy New Year to all you good owners. I am having great difficulty trying to find a part number or better still a "Speed Sensor" (Right Front) for my rig as shown above. To make matters worse I am in Australia. I have been able to diagnose that the sensor is open circuit and does not read the required resistance of 1500-2500 ohms, as described in the manual. As a result a 'Tech II' has read a fault code of '021' "Right Front Wheel Speed Sensor Circuit Open or Shorted to Battery". This fault is evident by the fact that the "ABS" light remains lit. As this is the case, I have failed my roadworthy inspection and cannot re-register my rig. Can anyone help me, PLEASE. Thank you for reading this, Kiwi Bill (In Oz)

Send a message via AIM to Oemtech
They are hard to come by and expensive.

Ultra RV Products (Brazel's RV) assuming this matches the one you have.

or

Mills Supply They have them for both 16" and 19.5" wheels.

We send parts to Oz quite frequently. Give me the last 8 of your VIN and I'd be glad to look the part up for you and advise.

You will need part # W8006803 for the right hand front sensor. We have them in stock.

Seeing the above reply from Brazel, I am amazed at the help RVers all over the world can get thru this FREE resource called iRV2.com .

Without sponsors like Brazel, and supporting members, iRV2.com might not exist.

Good job, Guys!

A note of great thanks and gratitude to the members who responded to my plight but in particular to the team at UltraRVProducts. Their service was just great. They had the part despatched that afternoon on the 6th Jan (US) and I received it in the morning of 13th Jan (Perth Australia). I am now going to the garage to have the speed sensor fitted, confident that it is the correct part as Ultra checked it against my Vin number.

Thank you again and I urge members to use this wonderful service.
