Don't know if WorkHorse is the right place to ask these questions or not but here goes. Just purched a 07 Itasca Suncruiser with a W24 chassis.

Getting to tire valves is almost impossible - why don't you put steel valve stem extenders on your chassis - wwe have to add them anyway?

Why does the cruise control go off if you put the fourway flashers on?

Why can't you flash your bright lights when running in the daytime to let others know it's safe to move over - have to manually turn of my headlights to let them know.

Why no airbags in the front?

I had all this on my 99 Monaco LaPalma thier low end class A - I just assumed they would be on the Itasca too?

Tom, I am just curious as to what make or manufacturer of chassis was your 1999 LaPalma built on?

Thanks, Glenn.

There you go! The WHCC design engineers (if you can call them that) were absent from school the day Standard Equipment was covered.

The SPID sheet has a great number of options that could be all installed as standard equipment however will the coach body manufacturer or the end user such as yourself be willing to pay for all those standard features.

Workhorse chassis are ordered with a great number of standard features and the chassis certainly does not have any less standard equipment than any other chassis and typically it offers its owner more. Again it's the OEM that orders the standard equipment on their particular coach body and chassis and it has nothing to do with WCC design engineers.

Relax, Mike. We've had this discussion before and if you couldn't see the implied smiley emoticon you need to dismiss yourself from this conversation. But I've been "here" too long to use them and don't hide behind any screen names.
By the way, interesting Occupation list. That's probably why we've butted heads in the past because of our similar backgrounds. Of course my tops yours by 10 fold (except the civil service part). <G>

Thanks for your answers I appreciate your time. The airbags I was refering to are the crash airbags not the diesel bags.

I wrote to Winne too and there really wsn't a good response.

I,along with most trucks and some automobile driver use my 4 ways whenever there is an incident that is ahead me one the hwy,. just to let the drivers behind me know that somethings going on ahead.

Thanks again
