I can't believe I didn't even get one reply on this, but here was the solution in my case that may help out someone else.
The relays were located under the green DC fuse panel board (basement compartment). Here I'm looking for old fashion type auto solenoids, whereas these things are more like solid state contacters in this model. It's been mentioned before that this item is also used to crossover the batteries while charging...mine will charge both with the converter or the alternator, which was working fine, so I decided to go straight for the manual dash control switch and sure nuf, she no working...as in permanently open...They use a 12amp @125vac spring loaded rocker type switch for this....ahhhhhh???....well anyway I found close to the same thing, except in a pushbutton style...in my goodie box and used that with a dress up washer. All OK now and also found out that this relay, contactor, solenoid or whatever you might call it (I can't even see it that well...buried under that mother board), has a 10 to 12 second time delay on drop out, so you don't have to hold it in for that amount of time.
