Has any one heard of a "NSA USSTR 2603 starter?? I had a problem and Good Sam sent a road service to get me going. They replaced my new defective NAPA starter with the above starter(they could not find a NAPA starter that would have been replaced free of charge!!). I looked it up on line but could not find a parts store that handles this brand. Just would like to know where to go should I have a problem. On line they say it is covered for 2 years. Fyi my shop at home said they will cover the bill,so that is not an issue.

Well we are now in Az we got about fifty miles from our RV park stopped for gas and got the click click again. This time I was able to get started by hitting with a hammer. Long and short of it when in our site after cooling down the starter worked again. I called the co that installed it and they made arrangements for me to get a new starter . Car Quest has that brand. I am hoping that because the fella that replaced it in Indiana did not install the heat shield caused this one to fail. I got the new one and I put the heat shield on this time. I also took the battery in and it checked out fine. I hope this is the last of my starting problem!! I can not think of anything else to check. I did check cables for corrosion and what little there was I wire brushed. Please let me know if I'm missing something.

Thanks for your generous offer. I have the new starter installed, and working. I was just wondering if I may have missed something. I have checked for corrision, and made sure the battery is ok. I am just trying to be sure I have checked everything. Thanks again!
