Steering Column R&R

I'm assumming the steering column is part of the Workhorse chassis. Can someone describe to me how I would go about accessing the wire harness inside that column? I'm thinking I have pinched wirese in ther caused by adjusting the steering wheel from time to time.

I took the advice of a forum member and moved the column backward then forward etc. and discovered this could be my problem. Help.

You shouldn't have to R&R the column. All you need to do is remove the plastic "clam shell" from the top part of the column. You should be able to see where the wires are rubbing in there.
