steering column shroud and Scangauge connection.

I had to remove shroud to hookup obll connector. Any feed back about refitting the shroud would be appreciated. I hate to create a cut out or leave the shroud off. Thanks.

I repositioned mine on the side and put the shroud back on. But I have an older P32 chassis and there was about 10" of wire that I had to work with.
You could try something like this:
Obd2cables OBDII Extension Cable 5ft 144201#

And then strap it wherever you wanted access.

The OBD2 port can be mount in either a vertical positing or horizontal position. Maybe all you need to do is change the mounting position.

The port is attached by two (I think) 7mm bolts. You could unattach and relocate.

If you are able to do so, I would move it to an accessible location. I have seen OBDII modular connectors from very well mounted to not attached at all. It all depends on if and where the coach builder mounts the connector.
