I was curious what is the air press for the rear airbags. My RV is a 37 Winnebago 1994 Tag axle Elente.... I know I have a leak in the system somewhere because after 2 two the bags lose all pressure.

Thanks,

Redline

Redline, I hope you can get some help with this however you may also get better responses in the MH - General Forum as well. Your chassis is a Chevrolet and I'm sure there are lots of Chevy owners out there with your setup. I'm going to link this over to there as well. Good luck.

Redline, the minimum pressure is 20 psi and the maximum I believe is 80 psi. The psi you will want to use is going to depend somewhat on the weight you have on the rear of the coach. I would guess probably around 50 psi. The only way to know for sure is to load and weigh the coach and then find the pressure chart for your chassis to set it exactly; just like you would for tires. Good luck and keep us posted.

I don't know the pressure, but my airbags inflate automatically when the engine is cranked. As I recall, they all four inflate together and if any one goes down, they all do. I had one pop last year so I replaced the two smaller rear ones together. I've had no problem with the two larger one yet. Can I assume with a tag axle you have four, two large and two small ones?
