we have been to cummins-bridgewater at least 6 trips of 100 miles around. they have fixed the ac unit, we leave and in no time it quits. so we had them install a complete new system and tahe first time we tried to use it, no go. this is more than frustrating. they have gone over this with wh and still no ac. anyone else have this much fun?

My W-22 dash air does not work either, I took it to Workhorse and they "fixed" it. As I drove home, 75 miles away it still didnt work!! Too far away to mess with them again. Next time I see a WH dealer I will stop in and let them have at it. The topic comes up several times on RV.Net. Very bad a/c unit WH put in.

Welcome new members to irv2 some posts back in this section you will fine some posts with the same problem. What they found was that the Evans heater control valve would not completely close on a/c. Evans sent some new valves to install, an others placed a manual valve to shut off hot water thru heater portion of heater, for summer use, with good results.
Your heater,a/c are put in by coach Mfg, just as your windshield wippers are. ---"007"

Welcome to Richard and Razorback :

007 is correct about the Evans-Tempcon heater/ac unit typically used. It is chosen & installed by your house builder, not WCC.

Now if we could just understand why any builder would want to add those windshield wippers

I had this same problem, took to Damon dealer 2 times, then to workhorse dealer 2 times telling the service writers that when you select A/C the duct work blows hot air, in 65 degree weather the duct work air temp was 120 degrees. problem is not that A/C is not working but that the Evans Heater control valve is NOT shutting off. finally was out of warranty and damon refused to fix. My NEW dealer had a tech that called me as the A/C was working and I told the tech to change the Evan heater control valve anyway. Fixed problem! there was 4 claims paid at over $800.00 and problem was not fixed.

The compressor on my dash a/c self destructed last October. Seized and then broke, chewed up the drive belt, etc. WH replaced it under warranty but now that it is warmer I realize I barely get any chilled air and the warranty has now expired.
