Question on the part number for the thermostat. I saw on Omey's list that 12600171 AC Delco and 14948 Stint are the correct numbers. I went to Checker Auto Parts and they said they used to carry Stint but have changed to Murray. He did a cross reference on the Stint 14948 and came up with Murray 45687 part number. Does anyone know if this is correct? I like to carry extra parts with me but would hate to carry the wrong part number.
I have a 2006 Trail-Lite W18 8.1 liter. Thanks for any help.

I called Midway Chevrolet who happens to be a Workhorse dealer. I gave all my info to the parts man and he said the part number he has is
131-121 AC Delco for $15.60. I told him I had part number 12600171 AC Delco from Omey's web site and he said that would work also.
I'm confused, to many part numbers.

They all point to 195 degree thermostat. Look at Gates 33329... same, same

Oemy, am I to understand that any of these numbers would work fine as long as they are 195degrees?

ACDELCO Part # 131156 {replaces 131-143 #12581595, 12600171, 131143}

As always take the old part with you when you chase parts.
