I am about to purchase new tires for my 2004 Sun Voyager 8379. I am looking at several brands and sizes. I am wondering if anyone out there has experience buying new tires for a similar coach and is willing to share their thoughts.
My coach weights are: Steer-7180, Drive - 14040lbs

I currently have the standard 235/80R22.5 Michelin XRV tires.
One tire dealer has suggested moving up to a little larger size. But I don't know if there is clearance enough for them. The larger size is a TOYO tire and is H rated. 255/70R22.5

The TOYO: Diameter is .6 inches smaller than the XRV
Width is .2 inches wider than the XRV
Dual space is .4 inches more than XRV
The revs per mile are 12 more than the XRV

Based on the revs/mile and minimal size difference, I don't think shifting and speedometer variation is a problem.

Thanks for your inputs,

G Rating is adequate given your axle ratings. Going to a H rating is going to affect your ride quality I believe .... I would also be concerned about the spacing for the doolies ...

The last time I looked at a GStream, there just isn't a lot of free space in those wheel wells of yours. They look nice though. Have the dealer give you a written exchange guarantee if you are not happy with the Toyos. I know folks out there have them not sure if they are on GStreams.

Thanks for the quick reply DriVer. The same dealer sells Goodyear and Michelins. I can also consider the 245/75R22.5 TOYO. They are replacements for the XRV except the Dual rating is about 110lb less than the XRV. But the Single is the same as the XRV. If that all makes sense.
