I am looking at new tires for our 2005 Kountry Star. One of the brands is Sumitomo. They are considerably cheaper than Michelin or Goodyear. Has any one had experience with them?

have a 2002 newmar mountain aire. I went to It had michelin tires. purchased sumitomo tires, have 20,000 miles on them. have had a better ride & handles much better. went to 255/70R 22.5. Had equal bags put in all tires for balance. mh runs smoother than my toad. Buy them you will not go wrong.

KSDP, I just replaced my 235 /80R 22.5 with Toyo 245 /75R 22.5 -- no problems at all with good dual spacing. You need to be careful with any wider tire as it may be limited by your rim size (mine is 6.75 inches) and the 245 was as wide as I could go on these rims (I was considering Toyo 255 / 70R 22.5). Good luck!
