I have an 02 Gulfstream Sun Voyager, W22 chassis. After reading many owners' experiences with brakes locking despite the brake recall fixes, I'm figuring a temp monitoring system would be good.
I checked a few systems that offer both pressure and temp monitoring -- and don't require taking off the tire to mount.
Can I hear from anyone's experiences with different models of Tire PRessure/Temp Monitoring systems, and pros and cons?
Thanks.

The Tire Minder/Tire Trakker system (same unit, different name only) monitors temperature from a sender that mounts on the valve stem and seems to work reasonably well. A system that mounts on the valve stem probably won't give as precise a temperature reading as one that mounts inside the rim, but a variation in the relative temperature should tell you all you need to know. I own the above system and the temperature reading seems quite sensitive, I can easily see the difference when the tire has been stationary vs. moving, etc.

I like my TST TPMS. I checked it against my digital gauge once a month for several months after installation. It was always with in 2 psi usually with in 1 psi. Temperature is relative. I monitor temp for change not absolute value.
