We have a grain silo operation, near my home in Fremont NC (on Hwy 117), just 3 miles off I 795, that loads trucks all the time with product, that has scales mounted at ground level. You can easily weigh each wheel seperately by putting only one wheel on the scale at a time. This would require you to turn the rig 180 degrees for the opposite side, since the scale is close, on one side to the office. Then the whole axle, and then the whole rig- . It is not elevated like most scales at truck stops.
