Only if you feel something's broke. A caster upgrade is not usually the 1st thing that an owner will rush out and do.

The benefit that owners speak about, is the improvement in directional control and pointing straight ahead. Excess caster on the other hand will make it more difficult to steer.

So what should be my next step? The Coach is wandering, I had it aligned and new tires about 3k miles ago. No other suspension upgrades other than the Koni shocks.

For what it might be worth, I installed a Tru-Center on our 42' coach and it made a huge difference in cross wind performance. It is great to be able to hold the steering wheel to maintain a straight course, touch the Tru-Center button and have the steering re-set to the position for straight travel. We were in some severe cross wind (25 to 30 mph) and it was like there was no wind at all. After using it for some 18 months, I would not hesitate to put it on any new coach we would get.

I would recommend a rear track bar 1st. It will improve your directional control. Don't blame me if you get spoiled and install a track bar and a damper in the front.

Thanks, I'll try out the rear one first. Now it's just time to Order Up.

I have learned that if you want to go where you point it.

1. Rear Track Bar (easy to install see the Henderson Video install)

2. Rear Sway bars (this is for rocking not tail wag)

Both of these are pretty easy to install. Good luck

I quess I am one of the lucky one. I have an 05 dolphin on a 04 w22 Workhorse chassis and mine drives and track great. I do take into concideration the fact that I am driving a large truck.

Jon, I saw the sale and I thought it must be time to order your track bar. I PMed Dale about it and he said it was only for the UP ECM upgrade. Was this incorrect?
Actually, I just finished building mine. If all goes well all I have left to do is put the coach on fairly level ground with the weight on it and install the bar.
It was an enormous amount of work in very uncomfortable conditions crawling back and forth from under the MH probably probably 40, 50 times. I would not do it again so if this one bends, breaks or fails in any way, I'm hust going to buy the kit.

Max,

Yes, that particular sale was only for our UltraPower Engine Performance Products. We are however currently running a sale on our UltraTrac bars until Tuesday, 10% off.
