Driver,
This may not be the best place, move it if you choose.
Most chassis' have a transmission attached, unless they are the old scooter models that are foot pushed down the road
Locating an Allison Dealer requires a process as with the workhorse chassis dealers, you know like a box of chocolates.
In the spirit of help in locating a dealer, I recently had my 5k initial service completed at the below facility:
Diesel Power Supply Company
Dealer
2525 University Parks Drive
Waco, TX 76706-0000
Phone: 254-753-1587
Fax: 254-755-0100
Performs ReTran™ Sales on 1000 Series™, 2000 Series™, 2400 Series™, AT 500, MD 3000, MT 600
Performs Parts Sales on 1000 Series™, 2000 Series™, 2400 Series™, 3000MH, 4000MH, AT 500, CL(B)T 700, DP 8000, HD 4000, HT 700, MD 3000, M/S 5000, M/S 6000, M/S 9000, MT 600
Performs Maintenance on 1000 Series™, 2000 Series™, 2400 Series™, 3000MH, 4000MH, AT 500, CL(B)T 700, DP 8000, HD 4000, HT 700, MD 3000, M/S 5000, M/S 6000, M/S 9000, MT 600
Performs Overhaul on 1000 Series™, 2000 Series™, 2400 Series™, 3000MH, 4000MH, AT 500, CL(B)T 700, DP 8000, HD 4000, HT 700, MD 3000, M/S 5000, M/S 6000, M/S 9000, MT 600
While traveling and a call ahead, they worked me right in even though I arrived about an hour later than we agreed. They took care of the initial service, actually asked me if I was having any other problems or concerns with the transmission, and charged me what they quoted, which I considered extremely fair.
They are easy to get to and easy to work with, and very accomodating.
Hope this helps someone else.

Any of the Atlantic Detroit Diesel Allison (DDA) facilities will service your Allison transmission while in the North East. These folks have the technology, the parts and the training to do the job.
See their website: CLICK
Atlantic DDA
Middletown 300 Smith Street
Middletown, CT 06457
Peter Cataford
Branch Manager
Phone: 860-632-0218
These folks power flushed my Allison and charged it with Transynd.
Locations in the North East

Driver,
I try to locate both a workhorse and allison dealer when scheduling service.
What I am discovering which most folks may already know which probably is similar having any vehicle serviced is that:
When I checked out service dealers, I located dealers for both workhorse and allison where service charges were twice what I paid where I had the service completed.
Folks in Gettysburg charged about $70 for the oil change and Harrisburg wanted to charge twice that. Same with Allison out of Houston compared to Waco, which was half the cost. Both certified dealers for their respective specialty.
The one benefit of traveling, scheduling services there is a choice in where to shop for the best servicing cost, if planning ahead.

Happy Travels
