After leaving one shop for a second opinion I took our coach with the bad diff./rear end, to a chevy car dealer with the black horse sign on the wall(workhorse shop). They told me that they have pin pointed the problem to the torque converter in the transmission, they will have to drop the trans mission to get to it? Has anyone heard of the torque converter? When I took the coach in I heard a very slight noise when I would push the gas peddle gently to reach speed. Is this a different diagnosis from diff/rear end, sure sounds like it. Anyone know a good workhorse shop in San Diego?, or am I just over reacting.m

Sounds to me like they are doing a lot of guesswork and no one has really diagnosed the source. I agree with Jon, take it to Redlands.
