Well now we are going way back when we had problems with water down the TUBA and the Fords were not left out of the problem either.

I didn't have a water ingestion problem, I removed the tuba in an effort to gain more airflow thru the radiator.

If you have a workhorse open the "hood" on your left as you look in you will see a large plastic horn shaped air intake.

That... is what they call the TUBA.

At least on the 8.1 L. engine.

Naahhh....no tuba removal here, and I certainly don't see any type of air restriction in this device! It's a closest thing to a CAI without spending $400 for one!

Winnebago installed a plastic cover that goes over the front top of the tuba as other manufacturers had water ingestion problems, and this cover doesn't allow water to enter the top of the tuba from the hood opening.
