The warning chime for my turn signals starts to bong in about ten seconds--kind of annoying. Is there any way to change how soon it comes on?

I don't expect that there is. Mine comes on it seems much later than 10 seconds.

You could try NAPA and see if they have time limits on others or just change it out to a new one.
Mine is a longer duration also.

The beeper for the turn signals on my 2005 Dutch Star comes on about 10 seconds "after" I take my foot off the brake pedal. I asked Spartan why? They said the beeper is suppose to alert the driver that the turn signal is still on after starting down the road. Like you see an old person driving down the road with the turn signal blinking for miles. So I guess the beeper is an "old people alert."

Mine was maffunctioning. The left turn signal indicactor light was staying on (not blinking) when my headlights were on. I had to drive a hundred miles home. Every 7/10ths of a mile I would have to put the right signal on to turn the beeper off. At exactly 7/10 ths of mile, the beeper would come back on. Drove me nuts. Obviously, mine is not set on a timer, but goes off the mileage driven.
Check yours sitting still and see if it comes on. If not , try it driving down the road and verify the distance you go before it comes on.

Did you get the problem fixed? If so, what was wrong? Mine is doing the same thing? Thanks...
