Park brake is not supposed to release until you push the yellow knob, not just when you touch the brake pedal. They work together of course, push the brake pedal down then touch the pad to put the system into drive or reverse, release the auto park. In your case, it is coming out of auto park when you touch the break pedal? Is the auto park engaging at all?

Unhappy

Let me try to make it clear

1st Start motor, step on brake, shift at touch pad, nothing. shut down

2nd Put foot on brake, start engine, shift at pad, push brake release, coach will move all is well but wait tail lites only are flashing and will not stop no matter.

3rd Today i got brave and checked parking brake the system appears to be just fine but that does mean that i have enough hyd. pressure to allow the park brake to release.

4th Also today i done a shutdown without putting the tranny in park i left the tranny in neutral pulled the yellow knob the brake engaged and shut down. Started back up applied foot brake pushed release, shifted from neutral into drive and we moved but still had rear lites flashing.

It appears that the auto park, whitch is applied only when you hit the park on the touch pad is having a problem, whether it is something in the program logic or a pressure problem i need help

When my HCU went bad due to low pressure...it took longer and longer to release the auto park, the warning buzzer continued to sound for a long time. Eventually it just would not come out of auto park and the front brakes were not doing much at the same time. The coach did not exhibit any of the other problems you are having. This sounds like a computer error to me, but that could be caused by something as simple as a bad tranny touch pad button contact.

The techs at Terry Labonte Truck Service took care of us. They are in Greensboro NC. I suggest a phone call to them might help. They are very familiar with the UFO chassis.

The service manager's name is Pal. Tell him Gramps suggested you call.

I spoke to the service manager there about 6 weeks ago. Really understands the brake system there. Also as Gramps stated Terry LaBonte has mine right now for a faulty HCU/ECU. They have had it for about 5 weeks waiting for parts. The new one sent so far has been deemed defective. We are still impatiently waiting for resulution

Just had hcu/ecu replaced. The first one received two weeks ago and the ecu was defective and last week a replacement was built by Meritor and overnited and installed and was programed and works fine. I have my coach back now. See my longer post in the other tread titled 2009 Adventurer. Greg
