After reading about problems releasing the parking brake when towed. I feel it could save problems if I had a copy of the steps required in the motorhome. Does anyone have, or can someone get them? Hopefully they would never be needed, but! If anyone can help I, (and all UFO owners on this forum), would be grateful.

I had to release the put the trans in Neutral, release the parking brake and leave the key turned on. Every time I removed the key, the parking brake reactivated. My UFO was towed 70 plus miles with no problem.

I know you can leave the ign turned on, but these motorhomes have a complicated electrical system. If you have an electrical problem it could kill power to release the brake. My motorhome had a loose connection between the front and rear computers which caused several trips to the shop, and finaly a tow. I don't know who was happier, me or the tech when he found the problem. I recomend going to the post by driver on how to release the brake, and make a copy to keep in the motorhome.
