UFO Roll Call

Okay, a lot of us UFO owners have posted here in various threads. I thought we needed to start one of our own in order to find out how many of us there are and where we are. The purpose is to check for interest in a real UFO get together next year. Either a meet up somewhere on our own or to go as a group to an FMCA event. I am open for either!

Count me in on wanting to get together somewhere next year depending on the responses you get.

Right now plans are to attend Bakersfield rally as well as very tenative on Union City rally.

We are game if it does not interfere with work to much. We are in the swampland between Tampa and Plant City.

Gramps, sounds great to us. We are going to Bakersfield, but would be up for somewhere next year as well. It would be nice to get together with a bunch of other UFOers!

Were you at Encore in Crystal River a few weeks ago?? I saw an Adventurer Limited there with a bike. The first UFO I've seen.

We are from all parts of the country. North Carolina, Texas, California, Tenn, Va, Florida, Illinois. So do we meet somewhere in the middle? Like at the Workhorse rally in Sedelia Mo? Or do we meet up at one of my favorite spots..The Great Smokey Mountains? Or possibly a place where I attended a rally once, Troy Alabama? And there is the big FMCA rally in Perry GA next March.

Hopefully we can get additional owners to respond and give us their imput as well. I have been told by a couple of Workhorse reps all we have to do is tell them where and they will be there too. I guess they will show up in their LaPalma UFO.

Our planned trip next year is to the Mid West. We plan to leave home about June 1st and we will be in Stigler, OK June 24 to July 1. If something can be put together for the Mid West (or close by) around that time frame we can make it for sure. Our tentative route so far is Las Vegas; Williams, AZ; Albuquerque, NM; Amarillo, TX; Stigler, OK; Branson, MO and then Colorado.

If I am not mistaken, I think that the Sedelia Workhorse Owners Club rally is in July of next year. That may be our best bet!

Although we are essentially snowbirds escaping to better weather in the fall and winter but staying at home for the spring/summer months, I'll stay tuned to see what location you come up with for a gathering.

WCMC is planning to hold a "homecoming" rally in July at Greenville, OH (near the WCC assembly facility), but I'm not aware of anything happening in Sedalia. Can you tell us more? ED

Ed, I have my rally locations mixed up. The Sedelia rally is a Holiday Rambler event, sorry.

Well, I have not picked any location. Right now everything for me is up in the air due to health concerns (not mine, but my business partner who has also been a good friend for a long, long time). I have to wait and help him through his personal battle. I may be able work a semi-long trip in but planning an event is out of the picture for now. It would be great to meet my fellow UFO owners and I hope that will happen one day in the not too distant future.
