Wayne, Just a thought! If you could find the leak on the reservior with some soap bubbles, maybe you could seal the leak or crack with some JB Weld epoxy from Home Depot.

I thought of that after I reinstalled it. We are packing for a 3 month trip (leaving Tuesday) so I hope to have time tomorrow to do a leak check.

Does anyone know a part number or a cross reference to a GM number?

Glad you found the canister I mentioned in my earlier response. Good work. Sammie seems to have found the part for you also and as others have said you might be able to repair the leak w. duct tape or jb weld etc. Happy trails. Greg

If all else fails a piece of 2 or 3 in pvc, two end caps, a couple of fittings to screw in the caps and your set. One trip to the hardware store, as long as you do not forget the plumbers tape to mount it.

Not sure if that would work. I think I recall reading somewhere that there is a check valve inside the reservior.

I found what I believe is the correct part at NAPA today. I had to add some additional hose on the 1/8" side but it mounted right in place. I don't hear the vacuum pump running anymore so hopefully the problem is fixed.
Part number is 47076 and I paid $14.07.
