Found out I could reply to the other thread, it's too old!

We had our neutral safety switch go bad last year and when it was being diagnosed our steps, fans and radio quit working. We were fortunate in getting back home without further incident but I was not able to find the cause of our problem. The MH was put in storage and we are just now preparing for our next trip.

Here's what I found (this was my reply to the old post from 10/16/09)

Update on the failure of the steps, fans and radio. I had mention the tech had probed every possible area when looking for the no-start problem. We're getting ready to head out West again and I started looking for the cause of the problem. After double checking every fuse and taking the dash apart to check the wiring, I found the problem after taking the BCC apart. When the tech was probing somehow he shorted the circuit board in the BCC and blew a ground trace off the board. With the board repaired and everything put back together, we again have working steps, fans and radio.

Hallelujah!

Dick

"Gotta luv it" when the tech complicates the issue. Now why do we pay the guys?
