About Uptime/Workhorse Parts Kits
Well we've just seen where a dealership has refused to install the steering wheel kit for the posted price in the advertisement.
This is no surprise to anyone, come to find out because you can't force any dealership to charge what you want them to charge.
The intent and purpose of (2) of these kits is to upgrade your 01, 02, 03 or (early) 04 motorhome to the current chassis build.
Now here's the deal. If you click on kits@workhorse.com and request a kit, Uptime Parts will guarantee the price as shown. The only caveat is shop supplies. Some kits require shop supplies while others don't
The 2nd place where you can get a price guarantee would be to call Uptime Parts direct, and ask for "Jim". Tell him that you read this post on iRV2 and that you would like to have a kit installed. Jim and GVW Parts will guarantee the published price for the kit. Call toll free: 800-309-7163
Your local Workhorse Service Center may not be participating in the kit campaign however GVW Parts will get you to a dealer that's as close as possible to your home and that will honor the advertised price.
Uptime Parts is a Workhorse Company based in Chicago and they are fielding this venture pretty much on their own. With input from WCC, Uptime is making this initial release of kits available to Workhorse Customers. Going forward Uptime would like to field additional kits and Workhorse Logo items for your motorhome, but which ones in your opinion would you like to see.
How about a bra for the front of your motorhome with the Workhorse logo centered on the piece? How about a window shade with a Workhorse logo on the shade? How about being able to buy a track bar for your motorhome as part of the chassis upgrade kit? One other piece that comes to my mind are hi-chrome exhaust pipe tips.
Let's talk this up folks, are there any suggestions out there for Workhorse specific aftermarket products?
How about a nice set of aluminum wheels with workhorse logo hubs? Anything is possible at this point all you have to do is think tank this and put your thoughts down in the forum.
As soon as we get a wish list, we'll forward our needs to the folks over at Uptime Parts. We can be a good customer based resource folks, lets see what we can collectively do.
I think this is a great opportunity for us, let's "Git'er'done!"

All,
Thank you for welcoming us (Workhorse/GVW Parts) to your forum.
We plan on using feedback from this site to continually improve the products and services we provide.
Our group has monitored RV forums in the past and has already begun analysis of future product releases, based on that information.
You will see "enhancement kits" for improving the ride, comfort, and appearance of your motorhome. Some examples of these items that may be released are:
Workhorse logo'd floormats or step treadplates
Workhorse logo'd floormats
Workhorse logo'd reciever hitch plug
Accelerator and Brake pedal extensions or adjustable pedal kits.
Polished Aluminum Wheels
Logo'd Flatware (plates, cups, silverware, etc..)
All of these ideas are in the beginning stages and can be brought to fruition if the demand is there.
If nothing else, please let us know what products you would like to see.
Enhancements have been designed and released for you, the end-user.
Satisfaction is our goal, and we are glad to be a part of your online community.
Please feel free to contact me at kits@workhorse.com for information on any of our enhancement kits.

Jim,
On behalf of iRV2.com I'd like to welcome you to our Forums. We are very pleased and thankful to have you as an additional resource for any of our concerns about Workhorse parts.
We certainly do have some great suggestions for new Workhorse logo products and I for one would like to have a pair of straight hi-chrome exhaust tips for my exhaust system. This product would dress up the exhaust pipes that are one the most visible pieces of the chassis that capture your eye. I previously had the Banks turndown tips however they kick up too much dust on dirt roads in campgrounds.

I need a big umbrella with the Workhorse logos on it. Could also use one of those 'scratch mats' that catch leaves/grass off your feet outside the coach door. And an 8 foot, oil-cloth durable picnic table cover with the Workhorse logo.

GVW parts is now called UpTime Parts and Workhorse Parts. We have several aftermarket customization kits that should be mentioned, available through your Workhorse dealer, www.workhorse.com/parts and coming soon at Camping World stores:
Stabil-Air 2 air suspension customization kit
Crystal Air beefed up A/C kit
Custome Battery protection kit
and the Super Sport Chassis kit.

I would information on the Workhorse logo'd floormats or step treadplates... ASAP
As far as the Accelerator and Brake pedal extensions or adjustable pedal kits. I am not sure what these are? Are they for when I teach my wife (who is a foot shorter than I am) to drive the MH? Kinda like Blocks we used to put on our bikes as kids? LOL
I also like the umbrella idea.... Or maybe the Workhorse Logo in Red, White, and Blue for the back? Perhaps with a Eagle intertwined?
Thanks Lee

LeeB: I don't think all of the items mentioned in DriVer's original post (dated 2004) ever made it into production or became available.
I'm thinking "big daddy d" dug thru the archives to link the new information he provided to an existing thread. ED

Ya gotta admit some our members dig deep, what was once old is now new again.
About an eagle .... Workhorse doesn't do eagles right now anyway that I know of, but how about a nice horse?
I would like to get a set of over sized Workhorse Floor mats if they ever made them available, wouldn't you?

Still think a black umbrella with a yellow Workhorse logo would be slick...

I'd be really interested in the pedal kit. That is one of the problems we have with this coach. Keeps the DW from driving.

Floormats and the umbrella sounds practical.
How about a Sunscreen film with the WH logo for the entry door window.
