JCM, With the name alone, "Gatorback" one can only assume that Goodyear is putting out a pretty good product.

JCM--

I'm getting my pictures together and when they are approved, I will post them on a "Belt R&R thread". I just went to the "Gatorback" belt---- Today .

After 30 minutes of running, it ain't "Chirpping " yet----

I had my rig in for an oil change yesterday and while it was up on the hoist, the mechanic got the part number off of the belt for me. It is a Goodyear Gatorback Poly-V Serpentine belt part # 4061025. I'm not sure why Oemtech posted the other part #, but my belt is 102.5 inches long on the inside, whereas the one Oemtech listed above is 108.0 inches long. Probably different motors are configured with varying pulleys, etc, therefore requiring different length belts. Check this link for available sizes

GM and/or Workhorse will change parts as they see fit and not tell anyone. So, it is always best if you take you old "part" with you when you get a new one.

108.0" and 103.0" seem to be the "norm" for most rigs.

GM make mystery changes? Naw, you lie.

GM loved their "First design, second design" with no real indicator of which fits what unless you have the original part.
