Does anyone know what air filter fits a 06 National sea Breeze W 22 Are they original GM

The Workhorse chassis guide shows AC part number A1236C and a Workhorse part number W8800481. (8.1L motor)

You can use the AC Delco A917C as a replacement. Same filter but without the foam cover.

I thought the foam was to catch the water. Sort of like a sponge.

Both are correct... But, failure to clean the foam on a regular basis makes this it VERY restrictive for air flow. If the foam cover was the "ticket" I think GM would be using it on all their filters.
We used them on the race car running dirt track... But, then we change the filter between hot laps, eliminations The A or B main.
Me, I would 86 the foam and change as necessary.
