w-22 front axle spindle nut size
I tried this on the WCC forum without response. Does anyone know the nut size? It appears not to be 38mm (smaller) and about 37 mm but can't find a socket.

According to a reputable source, the size of the nut is 1 1/2 inches.

Thank you Driver. I did find out it is 1 1/2'' but a 38MM will also work and is a little tighter with less slop

Metric fits 1 1/2" like a glove. 19mm = 3/4" therefore 38mm is an exact fit for 1 1/2".

It is very close but not exact. 38mm=1.4960. There is less slop with 38MM. Curse my past engineering days

I had to carry them when I was hauling trucks piggy-back. The 38 mm worked well, and even better for some nuts left with impact damage or rounded shoulders.
I bought mine a sears- they had them, and many other hard-to-find sizes.
