Talking to WH "Special something dept" yesterday am, I had a new person to push buttons on about my shocks. I said I just could not to drive yet further than the 100 mi round trip to nearest CAT scales to get the 7 weights WH required. No idea where I'd have to go. She asked who told me they wanted more than front and rear. Your WH Center Youngs RV. Short, she gave me the address to send copy of receipt of shocks I had to put on myself.

Hey, Stubborn. I'm with Driver on the Koni's. I installed them on my W20 and we just got back from about a 700 mile trip into the mountains and they were an unbelievable improvement over the Monroe's. The ride was smoother, no jarring your teeth out going over bumps in the road and the handling was almost like my fleet of Ferrari's. Yeah, right. The handling was very precise.

You wouldn't be wrong to change over even though they are quite expensive. The improvement in the ride quality alone is worth the price of admission plus they are guaranteed for life.

What's wrong with that?

I know of 2 dealers here in PA who upon delivery, replace the shocks on any WH chassis that does not have either the new Monroe's or Bilstein shocks. One of the dealers does this on used MH's too.

I asked why and they both said to avoid problems with their customers. They tell the customer they did this and bury the cost in the selling price.

Good customer service is priceless !!

I received mine today. It took 5 days for Koni to ship after receiving the AJ order and 4 days for them to arrive in Phoenix.

Anyone interested in my slightly used Bilsteins with only 6000 miles?
