Replace the chime unit which will be silver plugged in harness under dash.
May feed from one of the AUX POWER fuse's.

Welcome to irv2.

Hello,
Our coach is an 05, W22, 8.1L, National, Sea Breeze LX. I want to add a 6 LED strip to each mirror and connect up to the front turn signal wire for each side, which will blink when the turn siganl's blink. After additional thought, I'm wondering if adding this load, all be it small, to the front turn signal lamp circuit, will have any adverse affects to the turn signal system, such as not providing a typical 'quick-blink' when one of the bulbs burns out.
Any experience/thoughts on this question?

Thank you

I used the light under the mirror arm which would draw more amps without any problem.

I just used the clearance lights and re wired them to be turn signals. Run a 2 wires down through the firewall and attach to the left and right turn signal lights. Saves trying to find the wires in the mess under the dash. I also installed a new clearance light on the front fender.

I have also installed lights on the side as your pic indicates. I was asking for a pic of the lights on the mirror arms. Thanks

They are just the standard mirrors with clearance lights on the bottom , which are now turn signal lights.

I have the mirror lights on my 04 but they have removed them on later models to save money I guess. I am sure the wiring harness is the same so not a problem of drawing too much current.

You can allways get stick on led lights. Just drill a small hole to run the wires and possibly stick the light over the hole so that it dosn't show.

I put the 24 LED side emitting lights just inside the outer frame of my mirrors that activate with the turn signals. If you use the light on the mirror they will be on all the time and that was kind of a pain at night so I changed my hookups to only activate when turn signals or flasher are on. They are really bright and easily seen day or night by someone that might be in the blind spot.

The light on my mirrors are turn signals. Looks like your picture, except vertical.
