Just been wondering. I've read W20&22 owners write about brake issues on their MHs and modifications to improve performance, ride and handling. So far, ours is doing well overall after 13,000 miles. Tire pressure adjustments based on corner weights help with ride performance. I still have the bilstein shocks. I've read a lot about Konis but will delay replacement until it is needed. The GM 4-speed transmission also does it's job. The 8.1L turns at about 2200 - 2300 rpm at 60 mph, the speed which I normally drive at on the freeway. I also have average 8 mpg since we got our Sightseer. I add 1 quart of oil in between oil changes of about 5-6 K miles. The CAI is still stock. The only addition I have made to the chasis (after front end alignment) is a "Reflex" steering stabilizer.

Relax, drive safely, and enjoy God's creations.

I have an 05 W22 chassis and every thing is still stock at 18000 miles with no problems. I have thought about changing shocks at 25000 miles and technology changes so fast I will wait till then to deside what brand. Mine is a 8.1 with allison 5 speed. 2200 to 2300 is abought 65 MPH and I get 8 MPG with a 36ft. MH
