I'm thinking when I'm at Gallo GMC Truck Sales (WCC Service Center), Vineland NJ next Wednesday for a possible multifunction switch replacement, that I should ask about a 12,000 mile service.
I would call them ahead of time to see if they can even do it when I'm there, but what should I be getting and expect to pay?
I know what the maintenance schedule lists, just wondering if anyone here has had a service center perform the 12000 mile service, what was done and what it cost?

Well, if I read my trusty owner's manual correctly, I should have the oil & filter changed, lubrication, and check/add rear axle fluid as needed...anything else?

Check your radiator cap, master cylinder fluid and you may also want to fill the windshield washer bottle!

Do you have any idea when the oil was last changed?
Service the dash AC system.
You could also have them check the generator and possibly change the oil, (hours) not sure if they will do it.
Might also pick up a spare fuel filter to keep in the coach in the event of an emergency on the road. It is a real bear to get if you need on the road
If you are coming to Myrtle Beach in the next few months, Driver and I are oil change experts.

Thanks, I've been going to get a fuel filter, might as well see if they have it.
I try to always do my oil changes myself, this one looks simple enough, but may be going to visit my sister/family in Mt. Pleasant SC in November, so could pass thru Myrtle Beach so the "experts" could do it for me...

Ya gotta start off with a "blank" or new map since you just got a new motorhome. What ever you did in your Class C doesn't count!
Nice job on the MH in your sig. We gotta fix your avatar next.

Well Gerry if you want the experts to do it we have to coordinate the dates.
I will be on the road until end of Oct. Return to the Beach for about a week and then up to South Jersey for about a week, around the 10th.
Will be home for Thanksgiving however. Check with Mike he will be moving around also.
We do look forward to meeting up with you. Maybe when we hit, NJ will be right off exit 30 GSP

Well, it's fate we meet somewhere...I have many firemen in my circle of friends...a neighbor who is the fire chief in Rahway, NJ. an RV.Net friend who's ID is Captain Ray, a fire captain in Auburn ME, a beach volleyball friend who has worked for the Jersey City Fire Department for over 30 years...so maybe we can schedule an Atlantic City rendevouz when you're in NJ...an overnight in the free Showboat oversize lot would be fun...

It says ok when I choose no avatar, but it never gets rid of it...a minor detail at this point...I'm only getting four out of eight ice cubes out of my icemaker...opening and cleaning or replacing the solenoid valve next...
